Everyone knows I enjoy writing love letters so anytime you see me here, be sure you’re in for a fun ride.
Right now, I am fighting my body because PMS is no joke which is quite timely with the article our Editor-in-chief put out this week on period insights. One thing I wish I knew sooner was just how much they could affect my moods and overall outlook on life. In the week of my period, I usually have absolutely no energy to do anything other than exist.
Moving out of the bloody zone, I got a cute surprise this week. I am in my waistcoat era and I got this gorgeous vintage piece from the store (photo below). I loved it so much and knew I needed more. This week, she sent me some options and I bought a pretty suede one. I got the delivery and saw that she sent me FIVE waistcoats as a gift! You know what that means? You can get a waistcoat style guide, only if you let me know you want it *wink wink*.
Unlike Coco, I haven’t seen the Barbie movie *bombastic side eye* but that should be rectified in the coming week. Like most fashion girls, I am busy trying to pick an outfit that represents both Oppenheimer & Barbie since I plan to see both in one day. Are we feeling a black oversized tee or sequined mini pink skirt? Something casual and hot? Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking.
This weekend, I am off to see my parents. I have decided to spend more time with them because it hit me that they are really getting older. I am learning to appreciate people more while I still can. You should too! We really don’t have as much time as we think. Spend time with your loved ones and show them you care.
